Hopefully, there is some commonality of purpose :-). A quick list of reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To practice writing<\/li>\n<li>To express themselves creatively<\/li>\n<li>To voice an opinion<\/li>\n<li>To respond to other bloggers<\/li>\n<li>To get attention (good or bad)<\/li>\n<li>To make a record of what they were doing and saying at a particular time<\/li>\n<li>To explore a topic in search of deeper understanding of it<\/li>\n<li>To entertain<\/li>\n<li>To inform<\/li>\n<li>To teach<\/li>\n<li>To be remembered<\/li>\n<li>To make an impression<\/li>\n<li>To get a job<\/li>\n<li>To inspire discussion<\/li>\n<li>To advocate action<\/li>\n<li>To persuade<\/li>\n<li>To woo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I suppose this question is as important as why do people read them.
